Project Proposal Request

To propose a new project for WCHT, fill out the form below.

All WCHT Members can submit ideas to the organization and request support to work on them. Requests submitted here will be reviewed by the WCHT Board and Executive Committees. 

If you are requesting support to work on a specific project, please take note:

• WCHT is an all-volunteer organization. If you are proposing a project, it is expected that you will take a role in leading and coordinating the work to be done. We can help you, but a good first place to start before submitting a request is to find a friend or two willing to work on your idea with you.

• The Board may request more details, financial information, or a presentation on your idea at an upcoming meeting in order to make a decision.

• Building projects take lots of time and energy. Repair projects take months of planning, home building and land purchase projects can take multiple years. Plan to have patience to achieve larger projects. Please research the required legal and financial steps your project will require.  

• WCHT sets its yearly budget between April and June each year. Larger projects may not fit in the current year's budget and the Board will recommend that you prepare a proposal for the next year's budget.

That being said, don't be afraid to submit project ideas at an early stage to receive guidance on how to gather the information your project would need.
